Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This policy is a plain-language draft describing how Snapwio is actually built to handle data. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before relying on it as your final published policy.

What we collect

When you create a Snapwio account, we store your name, email address, and phone number. When you set up your business profile, we store your business name, contact details, address, logo, and brand color.

When you use the app to document a job, we store the content you create: client names and contact details, job photos and captions, notes, signatures, and the reports generated from them. You are responsible for having the right to collect and store any client information you enter.

How we use it

Your data is used only to operate Snapwio’s core features: generating and storing your reports, backing up locked jobs to the cloud on paid plans, and emailing reports to your clients when you choose to send them. We do not sell your personal data or your clients’ data to anyone.

Where it’s stored

Report photos and PDFs on paid plans are stored in encrypted cloud storage tied to your account. Free-tier data stays primarily on your device, with only the most recent jobs retained locally. Report emails are sent through a transactional email provider on your behalf.

Your controls

You can edit your business profile and account details from Settings at any time. You can delete individual jobs, or request full account deletion, which removes your stored data according to our retention practices. You can deactivate your account from within the app.
